Convergence Indoor Winds is excited to be promoting to the Winds Independent Open (WIO) Class and will be participating in WGAZ and WGI events.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who can participate in Convergence Indoor Winds? Pursuant to the Rules established by Winter Guard International, Inc., Convergence Indoor Winds is open to any individual not over 22 years of age as of 12:01 AM on April 1, 2025.

Where does Convergence Indoor Winds rehearse? For the foreseeable future, the ensemble will be rehearsing out of Estrella Foothills High School in Goodyear, AZ.

How much does it cost to participate with Convergence Indoor Winds? Participation fees are established by the Executive Director and approved by the Board of Directors with consideration to the overall expenses of the ensemble. Fees for the 2025 season are still being established but will be in line with the other independent ensembles in the state. Convergence Indoor Winds will be traveling around the state of Arizona as well as out of state. Payment plans are available for those who may need it. Additional information will be offered in a performance contract, if offered.

When does Convergence Indoor Winds rehearse? Rehearsals are scheduled for Friday nights from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM beginning on December 6, 2024. Sunday rehearsals will happen from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM beginning October 27, 2024 through November 24, 2024.

How many competitions does Convergence Indoor Winds participate in? Convergence Indoor Winds will be participating in WGAZ and WGI events. A detailed schedule will be provided with a contract.
